Every PipeLedger plan includes two types of monthly usage. FIQ covers questions, reports, and work performed through connected applications and AI agents. FCU covers refreshing your financial data warehouse. Your included allowance is always used first. Additional usage costs $0.10 per FIQ and $1 per FCU, and Owners and Admins can set a monthly budget for additional usage, including $0.
Questions and reports use FIQ
FIQ measures how much you use PipeLedger to work with your financial data. This includes asking questions, creating reports, and using PipeLedger through connected applications or AI agents. Your FIQ allowance applies everywhere you use PipeLedger, and you can see your monthly usage and any additional charges in Settings.
A simple completed request uses 0.1 FIQ, or equal to $0.01 after your included allowance. Larger requests may use more when they analyze more data, and each request is counted once. PipeLedger does not add separate charges for the internal work needed to check permissions, find the data, and deliver the result.
Data refreshes use FCU
FCU measures the work needed to bring data in from your accounting systems and refresh your financial datasets. Refreshes involving more systems, records, or selected data products may use more FCU.
Because every organization is different, there is no fixed FCU cost for every refresh. When comparable history is available, PipeLedger shows an estimate before the run. The exact FCU appears after the refresh finishes.
Included monthly usage
- Basic: 1,000 FIQ and 25 FCU
- Pro: 2,500 FIQ and 50 FCU
- Enterprise: 5,000 FIQ and 100 FCU
These allowances do not represent a fixed number of questions or refreshes. FIQ depends on successful operations and metered warehouse data. FCU depends on the connector, selected data products, refresh scope, data volume, and measured compute.
Additional usage lets you remain on your current plan during busier periods. Choose a higher plan when you need its connectors, reporting scope, controls, or support, or when its included allowance lowers your total monthly cost.
Stay productive without losing control of costs
Included allowances are used first. Standard additional usage is $1 per FCU and $0.10 per FIQ on every self-serve plan and is itemized and billed monthly. Custom committed usage is available for higher-volume organizations.
Owners and Admins can set the organization's additional-usage budget from $0 up to the $500 self-serve limit. Once settled usage reaches that budget, PipeLedger pauses new billable operations and pipeline attempts. Work already in progress may finish and settle above the threshold.
Settings shows current-cycle usage, prepaid credits, unpaid usage, and available FCU projections throughout the billing period.
Monthly allowance renewal
FIQ and FCU allowances reset each month, including on annual subscriptions. Unused included units do not roll over. Additional usage is measured and billed within the monthly usage period.
Technical FIQ calculation
For customers who need the billing detail, a completed operation uses the greater of 0.1 FIQ or 1 FIQ for every 10 MiB of metered warehouse data, rounded once for the complete operation.
